Jigoku Shoujo

Japanese : Jigoku Shoujo, but since Jap words are Chinese derived, some Jap characters are Chinese ones but they are prounounced differently thus…

Chinese: Di Yu Xiao Nu, so English would be Hell Maiden

Quite simply put I would classify this anime as Horror, but strictly it should be under teh Shoujo Genre.

Its about this website that only is accessible at the turn of midnight. If you access the site and post a grudge on a person you hate, rumour has it that the Jigoku Shoujo will carry out your revenge for you.

The actual website exists as an advertising gimmick… I was able to access it ONCE but i didnt post anybody’s name on the site. Coz i tot it would be accesible anytime of the day. But turns out after i tried to access it again i couldnt! damnit. shud have posted Lim Oon Hua’s name or sthing.

I think i was able to access it arnd 12.30am, that’s probably midnight in Japan. But I’ve failed so far lolz.

Here’s the site: http://jigokutsuushin.net (this translates to Hell Correspondent)

Hello, I just recently read your posting and went to the site you suggested. Is it possible that the site when oyu type it in of course. Leads you to a ‘what you need and when you need it’ sort of site instead of saying the site was not found? Because I searched it at 7:39 my time and that’s what appeared. And so far I will not be able to access it at 12:00 my time or 12:30 my time because I have school the very next day. If you could please give me an answer for this I would be very much obliged.

Yes that’s what I get now. The anime ended in Japan a long time ago so if they took off the advertising gimmick its no surprise.

    Hope that helps :)

    Saludos…

Now this is a series for the masses. Horray urban legend. For those who does not know what this series is all about, it’s about a rumor/urban legend of a website that you can only access at midnight. (lol, Go to http://jigokutsuushin.net/ at midnight GMT+8) There, visitors post up the name of the person they have the greatest grudge against and soon later, Jigoku Shoujo will help them seek revenge by sending them straight to hell. But anyone who excepts Jigoku Shoujo’s service will have to sign a contract with her, which means going to hell after death. It’s said that one’s soul will no longer be able to access heaven forever after doing business with her. Well, as you may have guess, there are people going to hell in almost every episode. Jigoku Shoujo is a quiet girl named Emma Ai during the day, but once work calls, she turns to the blotted eye Jigoku Shoujo. Not bad a show with good animation(I mean, really good). Well, it’s good overall.
